Ludwig, Martin J. (*1963) Germany

Steffen Klaumünzner (alias Martin J. Ludwig), coming from Zwickau, was born in 1963, is married and has got two children. His musical career began with a Dixieland band and a children's choir. At the age of 15, he ventured on his first compositional attempts. Soon after that he began to study music at the Franz Liszt College in Weimar. Here and especially in connection with his work as a choral conductor of the Schwanen-schloß-Chöre (Swan Castle Choirs) Zwickau (since 1989) and the Futurum Kinderchor (Future Children's Choir) Mylau (since 2007) he wrote a lot of songs, choral sets and arrangements for children's choir.
Furthermore, he also works as a lecturer in choral conducting, as a juror in singing and choral competitions and conducts various workshops for children's choir. Since 2000 he has also been operating at the Saxon Seminar for Choral Conductors.
