Rożek, Heinz (1927-2021) Germany

Heinz Rożek was a lecturer at the Institute of Musical Education in Berlin from 1953 to 1970 (training and further education of music teachers). Later on, he worked as head of special music classes at music-oriented extended secondary schools and as a freelancer for the Children’s Radio Choir in Berlin (vocal training, co-repetition and rehearsal). He was the director of well-know children’s and amateur choirs producing songs for records, radio and TV. He has been a composer and editor, predominantly for vocal music, for a long time. Heinz Rożek died in Berlin in 2021.
