Telfer, Nancy (*1950) Canada

The Canadian composer received her musical education at the “University of Western Ontario” where she studied music pedagogy, composition, piano and voice.
Her oeuvre includes more than 400 works for soloists, chamber ensembles, orchestras, bands and choirs which belong to the repertoire of many outstanding international artists and ensembles. Apart from that she has given workshops to conductors in America, Asia, Australia, Europe and South Africa.
Nancy Telfers publications “Successful Sight-Singing”, “Successful Warm-ups”, “Successful Performing”, “Singing in Tune” and “Singing High Pitches with Ease” have received world-wide recognition for their contribution to the improvement of choral education.
